ROMANS 101 presented by Pastor Pat Callahan
November 2nd to December 14th
It has been said that when a person fully grasps the teaching and theology of Romans, he or she is heresy-proof. It is the singular book in the New Testament where the Gospel of God's grace is systematically set forth. What Isaiah is in Old Testament prophecy, Romans is the New Testament epistles. Martin Luther wrote, "Romans is the chief book of the New Testament." Samuel Coleridge wrote, "This is the most profound work in existence."
In this six-week study we will dip our toes in the deep waters of Romans for an overview of one of the great works of systematic theology ever written.

Celebrate Recovery - Help for Hurts, Habits and Hang-ups
Every Monday evening
6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
The purpose of New Covenant Community Church´s Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God´s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles.” This experience allows us to “be changed.” We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God´s grace in solving our lives´ problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power – Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.
Celebrate Recovery meets every Monday night 52 weeks a year even when Monday falls on a holiday! You do not need to be a member of New Covenant Church to attend Celebrate Recovery. You can learn more about the Celebrate Recovery by visiting www.celebraterecovery.newcov.com.
